Since 1993, Karen Davis has been actively involved in the Glendora community and has been devoting herself to community service. For over three decades, she has proven herself to be a leader effecting positive change in Glendora.

Karen was first elected to the Glendora City Council in 2005 and has been selected by her peers to serve as Mayor four times. She serves on the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments Homelessness Committee and is a Board Member on the Regional Housing Trust for the San Gabriel Valley, among other responsibilities. Her local and regional contributions have been recognized as the Glendora Citizen of the Year Award recipient in 2003, a 48th Assembly District Woman of the Year Honoree in 2021, and one of Congresswoman Judy Chu's 27th District Women of Distinction in 2013.

Karen obtained Senior Chaplain Certification from the International Conference of Police Chaplains and has been serving as a chaplain for the Glendora Police Department since 2002. In 2023, she was selected as the recipient of the International Conference of Police Chaplains' John Price "Excellence in Chaplaincy" Award. Only one recipient is selected each year for this prestigious award. She has served as President of the Glendora Ministerial Association since 2016 and serves on various other committees throughout the community and the region. Karen has been a supporter of the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley and has served on their Board of Directors since 2015, including serving as Vice President of the Board from 2018 to 2021. She helped organize Glendora Together, a community organization that promotes dialogue and education around important community issues.

Karen received her B.A. degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, and her M.Div. from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX.

She is the pastor of First Christian Church of Glendora, where she has served since 1993. She and her husband, Greg, and their twin daughters enjoy living, working, and playing in Glendora.
